We are excited to present the Turn It On remix reinterpreted by Sleepy Time Ghost and featuring Jimmy Screech, a duo that worked together formerly under the name Ghostwriterz. This time they’ve linked up with Shumba Youth to produce a hard hitting dancehall banger taking the song in a new and exciting direction with Sleepy’s unique production skills.

The original version has had great feedback from its release, and we wanted to give it a fresh new killer sound. We hope you can enjoy it as much as we do. Turn it on & turn it up loud!

Turn It On succeeds Shumba’s other big releases Never Refuse It and Standing Firm both of which have been receiving great responses. Our young artist has not only put his vocals to solo projects but has also collaborated with the likes of Daddy Freddy, Tippa Irie, Top Cat, Blackout JA (Why Did You Do That) & Reggae Roast (Keep On Bouncing) on Bun Dem Out and Trojan Records.

Last year was a busy one for Shumba Youth, with many live performances. There’s no question that he has been making big waves with his solo releases and is fast becoming a rising star in the European and UK Reggae scene. 2021 is set to be a great year for this artist!
