We are excited to present the first single Turn It On, from Shumba
Youth on Future Roots Records. This release see's production from Leo Samson, a young producer who has worked with Reggae Roast, Boom Sound & Nice Up! Records respectively.

The track, originally part of the EP Hot Like Lava and released on Reggae Roast Records in 2017, has now had a fresh mix by Ed West for the single’s release. Shumba Youth’s distinctive melodic vocals accompany a dancehall/ rub-a-dub ‘digi’ style production which is sure to set the dance floor off!

Turn It On succeeds Shumba’s other big releases Never Refuse
It and Standing Firm both of which have been receiving great responses. Our young artist has not only put his vocals to solo projects but has also collaborated with the likes of Daddy Freddy (Jailhouse Rock) & Reggae Roast (Keep On Bouncing) on Bun Dem Out and Trojan Records.

Last year was a busy one for Shumba Youth, with many performances. There’s no question that he has been making big waves with his solo releases and is fast becoming a rising star in the European and UK Reggae scene. 2020 is set to be a great year for this artist!
